All of the materia should be mastered. An efficient way of doing this is equipping the required materia in triple and double growth equipment, then fighting magic pots and movers in the North Crater.
Once done, have the following materia setup:-

Now enter the fight and don’t press a single button. This also works on Emerald Weapon. Easy!
