First we show what happens if you actually let the giant snake catch you in the swamp near the Chocobo Ranch. The Midgar Zolom doesn't mess around... at least if you fight it at the beginning of the game. It's less threatening now, but if Midgardsormr can kill Thor, it has to be pretty badass.

After a quick stop to buy some useful materia, we head to Mideel to check on Cloud and Tifa. Before we get too far Ultimate Weapon attcks! Can the party hope to survive a fight against one of the enormous deadly Weapons?

In the aftermath a couple party members find themselves inside the lifestream itself. We finally get the chance to see what the lifestream is and how it works. As you'd imagine the manifestation of spirit energy of all the life on the planet it's a little abstract. It seems like part of it involves a mix of jello and machine guns...
