Final Fantasy X (Lowest Turn Count) Ep. 28 - Yunalesca

This fight has 3 phases to it so we really need to do a lot of planning. Before the fight, I used all of Yuna's sphere grid points. I sent her down many paths using teleport spheres to boost her Strength and HP as much as possible. As you can tell, she's pretty tanky now. The main reason for this is to boost Bahamut's stats.
Phase 1, we obviously start with mixing Trio 9999, This sets up Wakka and Lulu for later. Then we swap in Yuna and Grand Summon Bahamut. We need some luck here, but Megaflare's damage CAN 1 shot Yunalesca's first phase, we just need a good damage roll.
Phase 2 starts and She get's a bunch of turns. Absorb always seems to do 50% damage to Bahamut, so surviving isn't an option. I was using a strategy before where I used Bahamut in the 2nd phase instead and him getting 2 Mega Flares to win. But this just wasn't working out because he kept dying before he could use the 2nd one. Either way, his Overdrive is filled now, so he can use double overdrives later.
Continuing on phase 2. We could just 1 shot it right away, however we need to waste a turn so that she will use hellbiter on us. To waste the turn, I opted to swap in Tidus and use his over drive to get him 1 step closer to slice and dice. Afterward Zombie is applied to my characters, I swap in Lulu and finish off phase 2.
Phase 3 always starts with Mega Death. The only way to survive is to have zombie applied, and it's the sole reason that this needs to be a 5 turn fight instead of a 4 turn fight. After her opening move, we swap in Wakka to finish her off with Attack Reels. (Provided I don't screw it up)
This was a pretty annoying fight. It took me 15 tries and the cutscene is over 5 minutes long each time. In theory we could cut a turn off if we had something like a Fire Gem, or an item that attacks multiple times. However, it would waste a turn just stealing it, so in the overall turn count, it would stay the same.
I think I used 4 teleport spheres on Yuna. Not sure how many of them i got from blitzball and how many i found or won from fights at this point.
