Okay, so we didn't get any food from Wakka, but at least we got Tidus' signature weapon. Looks cool. Shame we'll be stashing it in our inventory for the entire game due to having the far superior Celestial Weapons at our disposal. R.I.P. Brotherhood sword.

Anyway, this game has a rock, paper, scissors system in place where a large chunk of the enemies are design to be taken down be certain party members. Tidus handles swift enemies, Wakka handles aerial enemies etc.

Yuna and Kimahri are the only party members that don't have enemies they're specifically designed to fight, though this hurts Kimahri more than Yuna seeing as she's designed to be a support character, whereas he's supposed to be a fighter like the others.

How useful Kimahri is depends on how the player builds him, but he'll be falling short for most of the game. At least some of his Overdrives are pretty handy, assuming you know who to get them from.

Also, he's a dick for attacking us for no reason. Good thing I managed to curb stomp him.

And yeah, I should have talked to Wakka first on the boat before going towards the crowd with Yuna. I didn't think the crowd scene would trigger until after I spoke to Wakka first. Whoopsie! I'm not re-recording this part because of that minor mistake, so...
