One of the most important aspects of storytelling is a believable character performance. Often times when we think of an actor in an animated film or game, we think about voice actors. While they definitely contribute to a character's performance through the voice, they are only HALF the performance. The key to a great character performance is to have good voice acting along with good animation.

Final Fantasy X is a somewhat controversial title in the series, and has sparked a lot of discussion and debate even today. One of the most talked about aspects is the voice acting in the game and there are many who criticize it to great lengths. Determining an actor's performance to be either good or bad is subjective, as all art is, however I believe that the character performances of Final Fantasy X suffer less so because of the voice acting and more so because of the animation.
