Part 59 - Battling Seymour and his Anima Aeon!

This battle is actually very very easy if you do it right. It could get rough otherwise though I'll admit.

First, Stone breath is great! It'll insta-kill his 2 guards that are protecting him.
If you can't do this you most likely have to use Lulu to wipe them out with strong magic due to protect spell + auto potion.

Tidus is extremely useful in this fight at taking out Seymour in both phases. Use talk on Seymour and your STR will double!

Ways to avoid Seymours spells are to use Yuna to spam Nul-spells. If you're confused on which to cast you can always use Tidus for haste on Yuna to speeden her up to be able to cast 3+ for each of seymours turns.

Anyway, Anima is the big deal for this fight. However Tidus gives you a nice hint on what to do.
Summon ????(Shiva).

Shiva easily has the power to beat the hell out of Anima and survive any of her attacks.
Keep attacking and just Blizzard/Blizzara heal yourself and once Anima is below 10000 health, you use Diamond Dust and it's over.

Back to deal with Seymour again he has 6000 health and now casts Multi-spell meaning 2x spells per turn which deals massive amounts.

The way to deal with this is to keep casting Nul-spells with a HASTE BUFFED Yuna and then using probably Auron and the beefed up Tidus with physical attackas to take him out in few turns.

Loot is random, but hopefully you'll be getting Black magic spheres which he drops often.
