Part 57 - Battling Crawler.

Well, Crawler isn't hard, but he's the first boss that could surprise you and take you out.

First off we have Negator, the small little thing that prevents magic. It doesn't have much health, but seeing as you can't use magic and that it's flying you don't have a lot of options.

Rikku's Mix as shown, definitely works wonders. You can use something else, but 2 maps mixed are cheap and you could buy em just before and that's why I used em really.
Other ways are I guess Wakka's Ball and perhaps overdrives.

It counters with Assault a lot which is a high physical damaging attack. Protect/cheers will save you with that.
Remember it's weakness to lightning and use Lulu for that!
Other things are of course, Haste your party and Slow Crawler to gain a tremendous speed advantage.

1 thing to note is that Negator respawns after some time. If you're lucky or can time it, it can respawn just before it can use its cannon attack. It's magic attack so it will fail if Negator respawns ;)

Really though, with Slow+Hastes+Thundara you should have more then enough time to beat him down before he can ever use it.
But should he use it, make sure you have someone like Auron out that can take the hit and you can easily recover from it.

This fight can easily get rough quickly if you're not ontop of things, but you should be fine just using tactic displayed.
