Final Fantasy XVI Combat Analysis
I tried my hand at analyzing the combat of FFXVI, trying to showcase who made it, what are the mechanics going into it, and why it looks promising. We might have the best action combat the series has ever had.

Please do note some things: The main character has no name so I call him Shield. I'm not a DMC5 expert and I am rusty so my gameplay sucks hard but I just wanted to show some stuff. If some text is too fast to read, just rewind a bit. I apologize but it is hard to gauge reading speed and I didn't want to make it too long.
The footage for FFXVI is in 30 FPS but I made the video 60 FPS for consistency. It shouldn't make a difference and we don't know whether or not the game is 30 FPS or 60 FPS.
Also this trailer does not mean you will not have party members. Lightning was the only character shown in FFXIII's reveal and we ended up with 6 characters or something. Devil May Cry 5 had 3 characters and I expect FFXVI to have some too.
