VERSUS Titan and Titan Lost

The most epic and longest fight thus far. It's also the one I had the most difficult as it took me a few days to get.

The fight is mostly straight forward and Titan's moves have a lot of wind-up so they aren't hard to dodge. But there are special circumstances that you need to be aware that can easily screw you up.

The first fight is pretty easy. The one move to be aware is Voice of the Land. If you are far enough away, you can usually jump backwards and you'll be fine. But if you're too close, you need to be aware of where the other burst will happen and make sure to dodge in a direction that is safe.

One tip I can give is in the latter half of this fight, try to dodge Geocrush so you get behind him. This way he will not be able to do any of the follow-up attacks. Those follow-up can be pretty nasty and hard to dodge sometimes but if you're behind him after he lands he won't be able to do any of them and get a lot of free hits.

Titan Lost fight is all about dodging his attacks. The whole first part is just dodging the boulders that are coming towards you or spikes that come out of the ground. You can just spam fireball to take out the boulders coming from the sky rather than using charge shot like I did. Likely a little more safer that way too. If you think you can't break the boulder or will likely hit a spike, dodge to the sides.

Be wary about when to use Brimstone. This is a powerful attack and it's easy to want to use it a lot, but there are scripted parts of the fight where Titan will use Stone's Throw. If you timed the use of Brimstone wrong, you might find yourself unable to use it when he does Stone's Throw. It apparently is avoidable with precision dodge but I think the timing is pretty hard to get.

The shockwaves are easy to dodge if you jump and use a charge shot to stay in the air longer. When attacking the arm after it punches, make sure you aren't anywhere near his fist as that is where the hitbox is and even if you hit the thumb from behind, you will get hurt instead.

The final Titan fight is all about watching his glowing fists. Dodge those attacks and keep hitting him. Again, be careful of when to use Brimstone. It is very tempting to use it when you get the first stagger but unless it's ready to use at the start of the stagger, I suggest holding off on using it as the recovery timing is super tight to avoid Titan's Stone's Throw after he recovers from stagger.

I try to not pause or open the menu during these fights but had to for something. If it does end up taking a while for me to un-pause, even if things might be going well, I usually will restart. I thought I might have to when I had to pause for a bit but thankfully it was only for a short while.

VS 召喚獣タイタンとデビルタイタン

長くそしてメチャクチャカッコいい激闘です。同時に今までで一番手こずりました。

戦闘のほとんどはさほど難しい内容ではないです。タイタンの攻撃はどれも予備動作が大きいので避け易いものばかりです。ただ、所々に特殊な方法で対処する必要があるので注意しなければなりません。

最初の戦闘は簡単です。大地の叫びだけは注意する必要があります。距離が空いていれば、大体後ろに避ければ大丈夫ですが、近すぎると避けた方向が悪いと隆起攻撃に巻き込まれてしまいます。安全そうな方向に避ける必要があります。

一つ、自分なりに気付いたのですが、後半戦ではジオクラッシュを避ける時にタイタンの後方に回り込む様に回避出来れば、追加攻撃をして来ません。ジオクラッシュのすぐ後の追加攻撃はどれも避け難いですが、後方に回り込むと全然して来ません。そして、殴り放題になります。

デビルタイタンは攻撃を避けるのに集中すれば簡単に倒せます。最初の疾走パートは降ってくる石を撃ち落としながら隆起してくる岩を避けるだけです。俺はチャージショットを使用してましたが、普通に火球を連打するだけでも大丈夫です。多分、その方が安全かもしれません。当たりそうになったら横に避けましょう。

この戦いからブリムストーンの使い所に気を付けましょう。強い攻撃ですが、デビルタイタンはフェーズが変わるとストーンスローを使ってきますので、それを避けるのに取っておくかタイミングを見計らって再使用出来るようにしておきたい所です。一応、ジャスト回避で避けられるそうですが、俺にはタイミングが読み難かったのでブリムストーンで確実に避けてました。

衝撃波攻撃はジャンプを使ってチャージショットを空中で撃てば安全に回避できます。パンチ攻撃の腕を攻撃する際は拳の位置に気を付けましょう。当たり判定が拳にあるので、下手したら拳の裏から攻撃を食らってしまう事があります。

最後のタイタン戦は光る拳を避けながら攻撃すればいいです。また、ブリムストーンの使うタイミングには気を付けましょう。最初のダウンが取れた時にすぐ使えればダウン後に使って来るストーンスローに間に合いますが、そうでなければ控えた方がいいです。

こういうバトルではポーズやメニュー画面をなるべく開かない様にしてますが、今回はちょっと諸事情で開かなくてはなりませんでした。ただ、ポーズが長すぎるとバトルをやり直す場合が多いです。今回もやり直さないといけないかもと覚悟したのですが、幸い短かったので、そのまま続けました。
