These are strange and unsettling times across the globe however please respect the guidelines and let's all get through this together. I hope you and your family are safe and well.

Woop Woop - I hit my revised 2020 target of 40 Subscribers! To celebrate here are 3 more videos. Let me know the sort of content you'd like to see more of

This is Capcom's famous beat-em-up Final Fight – originally known as Street Fighter 89 the sequel to the first Street Fighter before it became it's own series. This is one of the lesser known ports – to mobile phone. Played here on my Nokia C2-01 handset. Obviously it is heavily cut down, most animations are simple 2 frame affairs but they work surprisingly well on the small screen. Controls are fairly responsive and the game play has been adjusted to accommodate the less than optimal controls.

I try to keep the handset steady while I play but it is fairly difficult to access the controls, keep the screen steady and play through the camera viewfinder.

It does feature all 6 levels and all three playable characters. Music is the most obvious cut back with short loops of the level themes. Backgrounds are highly simplified and repeated but it is a solid port all things considered. It does cut out the two bonus levels – the Car Smash and the Ice Blocks. There have definitely been far worse ports of this arcade classic.

This is level 2 – The Subway – played through as the Street Fighter Zero version of Cody. If you'd like to see more of the game just let me know.

I've now sorted a new PC so once I have that set up I should be able to edit videos better and upload more frequently. I'll be uploading some more of my more obscure games and systems. Let me know the sort of content you'd like to see – system overviews, games, obscure stuff etc Got all kinds of gaming goodness in the loft (as well as some mice I think.....) Also I don't tend to do voice-overs etc as I let the game speak for itself and usually just do a brief bit of text at the start but let me know what you'd like to see :-)

Let me know what types of videos you'd like to see

As always if you enjoy this video let me know.
As always this is uploaded under the Fair Use Policy - no money is being made from this video.
