This is the Wordle for January 3, 2023 (#563).

Today's starting word is PLATE. Yesterday's Countryle answer was Djibouti. The name Djibouti may derive from a word for plate. As well, Djibouti lies on a geologic tripoint where the African Plate, the Somali Plate, and the Arabian Plate meet.
