Procedure:

Restart Your Device:

Restart your PC to ensure temporary glitches are resolved.
Check Device Compatibility:

Ensure your fingerprint reader is compatible with your version of Windows.
Update Windows:

Go to Settings - Windows Update and install the latest updates to fix known bugs.

Update Biometric Drivers:

Open Device Manager (Win + X - Device Manager).

Expand Biometric Devices, right-click your fingerprint sensor, and select Update Driver.

Uninstall & Reinstall Driver:

In Device Manager, right-click your fingerprint reader and choose Uninstall Device.

Restart your PC, and Windows will automatically reinstall the driver.
Enable Biometric Services:

Open the Run dialog (Win + R), type services.msc, and press Enter.
Locate Windows Biometric Service, right-click it, and select Start or Restart.

Set Up Fingerprint Again:

Go to Settings - Accounts - Sign-in options.
