finntroll 1984 INTRODUCING BF HARDLINE (BATTLEFIELD HARDLINE)
After a thrilling 5-month rollercoaster on Battlefield 1, I turn my attention to BF Hardline (2015). Another fine EA game where camping is a good thing, rather than playing stick & move. My statement is backed up by the first minute of this video, where I'm lying in a train wagon and 10 enemies were KIA from one and the same spot. However, Battlefield is a shooter where all sorts of players have a good time and Hardline is no exception. Great weapons (some of them you remember from BO1 and BO2) and again, great graphics and a fantastic setting. Druglabs, bank vaults, dark woods and much more. This game has it all and the only problem you might encounter is finding a proper amount of people to play against. TDM and Conquest provide enough opponents, other game modes may not. Most maps are set at night time or under cover of darkness so that brings an extra challenge to spot players and keep them in your sights, but there are also easier setting during the daytime. Putting your screen brightness on maximum defo helps! Overall, the police versus terrorists setting reminds me of Counterstrike (CSGO). But if you are fed up with the Activision Matchmaking Patent which focuses on Loot Boxes and purchased items, defo check out this title. I bought it for $15, which is not even enough money for it, but it's clear to me that EA Dice is a studio that cares about its customers and not about the extra in-game content which brings billions of dollars to game developping studios. The downside of Battlefield Hardline is the easy way of spawn trapping enemies, which can be obtained by simple circling the block when you get towards the end of the map. On one map (The Block) your team will even be put outside the map borders so there is no chance of getting back into the map on the Conquest mode. But with so many players in one match, and a decent server with accurate hit detection, there HAS to be at least one flaw... Conclusion: buy at least one EA Dice shooter, whether it's Battlefield or Battlefront 2 (or Plants versus Zombies 2 for that matter), and you will see the night and day difference between the random crap of Activision and the joy of EA.
