So I haven't been working on too much covers lately because I have been trying to focus on my career path towards the game industry. My main reason why I went into music in the first place was to compose for video games but since I've attend some conferences & conventions like GDC, GSC, PAX West, I have been more inclined to learn more skill sets of learning computer programming, game engines, art. I was learning C# and Unity, but took a break from those to try and make a game through RPG Maker MV and learning Javascript. I was messing with RPG Maker VX Ace years ago, but decided to upgrade to MV.

Also, seeing how big the industry is has made it feel tough to only be focusing on music for video games, that's why I've been wanting to diverse myself into other disciplines, even though it may not be my forte.

I'm making this mock up game and sharing it because I want to learn to this engine to try to build an actual game in the future, hopefully collaborate with other artists, programmers, writers, etc. because sometimes I get the whole imposter syndrome as I'm trying to learn how to draw and make pixel art, as well as learn coding.

I worked on the mapping, battle system, using the character generator, with many many plugins and tutorials (still learning!). I want to complete this mock up game and maybe I'll upload it somewhere free to play because I do have a ending in mind for this game, as it there is at least a small story to it for fun.

I was trying to use OBS to record the footage but RPG Maker MV was not cooperating with the window or game capture so I had to find an alternative.

All the music assets are composed by me, I made a few sound effects.
