Yeah, their track record on parents isn't really good. I mean, in Fates, you lose your birth mother and your adoptive mother, who never really was around if you took on the Nordlands side, and slaughtered your adoptive father after losing your actual father as a child. It was a lot of matricide and patricide that was happening. Sigurd himself was a father that was killed when his son was just born, and you played as him.
