It was all fake the whole time. We don't really know what this dude's entire reasoning is behind what he's doing, but the good thing about it is that he's a representation of a larger issue. I believe this has, once again, a lot to do with the idea of technology taking over and destroying us as humans in the end. The whole Homoculus concept seems like humanity trying to make itself larger than reality, or something. Nintendo, Sega, and Platinum Games own the rights, not me.
