I’m interchanging between MHG and Fates Revelation. Our focus is on Revelation and I took the time to do a little training so I can gear up.
Since we chose to not take a side, Hoshido and Nohr declare us traitors. Azura suggests that we head out of sight until things die down. We head for the Bottomless Canyon… wait seriously. What’s Azura thinking?! Regardless we follow Azura down the Bottomless Canyon into the mysterious kingdom of Valla. If you remember back in Conquest, we followed Azura to a strange place and met Gunter. That’s the case here with Revelation but with one difference. It’s Corrin, Azura and Felicia against a whole load of Invisible troops.
The objective is to Seize. If you trained like I did, you’ll do okay but I recommend that you tread carefully. Most of the area is filled with darkness and you need to trek to find the rest of the path. If you do, enemy forces will come so watch out. Taking advantage of Felicia’s Iron Dagger/Shuriken can help as it will reduce opponents’ stats and providing more damage. Along the way, you’ll find Chests and you need Chest Keys in order to unlock them. Some enemies will have Chest Keys. My best advice is the most obvious, “Let the enemy come to you.”
Eventually as you reach the end, you’ll meet Gunter. Gunter is a Level 3 Great Knight and in this case, he’s the Jegan of Revelations. You can use him to weaken enemies so that your units can take them down and get the experience. No worries on dealing with the boss, he won’t go anywhere. Use Felicia to weaken it and if you want, have Corrin finish it off. Seize and then you’re done.
By chapter’s end, Gunter will join the party but we’re not out of the woods yet. We get kicked out of the invisible kingdom and now our job is to get both Hoshido and Nohr to join forces. If only it’d be that easy.
