1The odd skill choice of Armored Stride and Armored Boots seal is actually important, because Flame Emperor needs to keep the extra movement at all times, especially on the first turn. Placing her on the third starting slot at the start allows her debuff to hit the Red Mage, which would otherwise not allow her to survive the first turn while taking Julia's precharged special to defeat her right away in return. After that there's no actual threat left on the map, and it just becomes a matter of going after the reinforcements that spawn in awkward positions, taking complete control of the top portion of the map and dealing with the enemies accordingly.
