Also called Heroes of Light and Shadow, because the full title is way too long. While many consider Awakening to be the game that revived the franchise, Fire Emblem 12 is the one that got me back into the series after getting burned out on it.

While make your own character was great and all, Lunatic difficulty for me was the defining feature, and I really enjoyed feeling like I finally got to dive into the strategy game aspect of the series again.
