The Imperial Army make it to Brennius territory, where the remaining lords of the western Kingdom make their last stand. Not only do we have the lords from the western Kingdom, we also have Gustave and Baron Dominic to deal with, and there is even a chance we have to fight Annette, and she wields a Hero's Relic.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

Before starting the battle, I show Mercedes and Ashe's dialogue when fighting Rodrigue, which was one thing I forgot to show, well I didn't even realize Mercedes had dialogue with Rodrigue, and for some reason Ashe doesn't have any dialogue when fighting Yuri, despite the two having a support conversation in this game. The reason I didn't realize that is because neither Ashe or Mercedes have ever interacted with Rodrigue in Three Houses, I guess it's because they are from the Kingdom, and Rodrigue is Felix's father.
For strategies, if you want to go with the best results, pick Backdoor Intel, this allows you to access a secret path, I will explain more later in the description. Recommended weapon types are Sword, Lance, Axe, and Gauntlets, you can bring a Tome user to fight the Armored Knights if you want, as they are weak to magic attacks.
The first objective for this battle is to capture the strongholds on the southern part of the map. Then the Kingdom troops will open the gates, and you then have to fight Gustave, have your sword user fight him, and when his HP is low enough, he will retreat, and your next task is to defeat Viscount Brennius and allies, use the weapon advantage against them as the lords are all around the map, and some of the troops will try to attack your strongholds, take them down before they get there, and during that, the Kingdom troops will activate the ballistae strongholds, capture them to stop the attacks against your troops.
After defeating Viscount Brennius and allies, it is time to take on Baron Dominic, but not without Gustave appearing yet again, if you activated "Backdoor Intel", you can take the secret path on the northwest part of the map, Annette will then show up with the Hero's Relic Crusher, and after defeating her, Gustave comes in to defend her, and Annette will retreat, and you then have to defeat Gustave in order to fight Baron Dominic. If you defeated Gustave but don't use Backdoor Intel, you then have to fight Annette, who will have boosted stats, and the main reason you want to pick Backdoor Intel is to spare Annette, even though she can't be recruited, it just feels messed up when Mercedes can be recruited but not Annette, despite how close the two are, and they do have dialogue when you have them fight, and Ashe does as well.
After either defeating Gustave after using Backdoor Intel, or defeating him and then Annette, it is time to fight Baron Dominic, he is a Paladin, if you brought an axe user, you can use them to take him on, and after defeating Baron Dominic, that is the end of the battle. You get a Master Seal for completing the battle, the S Rank reward is an Energy Drop, which permanently boosts the user's Strength, and the chest contains an Aurora Shield, which negates bonus damage targeting Flying units, like Pegasus Knights and Wyvern Riders, so on a map filled with Archers, the Aurora Shield can be a good item to equip to your Flying units.
During the dialogue, an Imperial Soldier tells us about something happening in Hyrm territory, which could mean Those Who Slither in the Dark could have something to do with it.
