The on screen story of the Firefly Lane girls has come to an end. Part 1 of Season 2 ended with Kate missing out on telling Tully that she was diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer. So I really felt like that she was kind of with me on this journey. Kate struggles for a brief period of recovery. during which she marries Johnny a second time before finding out the disease has metastasized to her bones and liver. There were Freedom to let go. And then. in that moment. you know. Tully walks in. its Kates last moment to evaluate her life and her communication with nature and just have an appreciation for who she is and where shes been and where she is at this moment.
