I want to show the simple base I've made so far and start the progression towards farming. I also desperately need to upgrade my ship so let's search for some crashed ones to salvage. If there's time, let's also do a bit on the freighter side of things, sending one of my frigates on a mission and looking more at the building options...

I haven't played No Man's Sky since it first came out, but the fourth major update since release is scheduled for today. Each has major gameplay additions and today's seems particularly full of potential. Let's see where No Man's Sky is at now and if it is a sandbox we want to play in.

I am particularly keen to check out the building and terraforming overhaul. Apparently you can now build huge multiple coop bases anywhere you want in the universe, including underwater or underground, and you can completely terraform the terrain from early game.
