On this episode of First Impressions, I find myself in 14th century France as Amicia de Rune, daughter of a French lord. After a hunt ends in the mysterious death of her hunting dog, things only get worse for Amicia when the Inquisition attacks her father's castle. With her estranged younger brother Hugo, she escapes the castle and tries to find help at the nearby village. But these are dark times for the Kingdom of France, and the villagers are looking for a scapegoat for their misfortune.
