Directly after the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Title Treatment Reveal and logo reveal, Sonic The Hedgehog 3 announced the new Sonic Movie 3 cast additions. Added to the cast were Krysten Ritter, Alyla Brown, Cristo Fernandez, Jorma Taccone, Sofia Pernas, and James Wolk. There's tons of speculation on who the cast in Sonic Movie 3 will be portraying, so I give my guesses on who they could be!
Also, Jim Carrey has returned as Dr. Robotnik for Sonic The Hedgehog 3! This is Carrey's return to acting, as he said his last movie would be Sonic The Hedgehog 2. He joked that there'd have to be a golden script written by Angels... and here we are.
Several days prior, a rumor broke out that Krysten Ritter would be involved in the cast for Sonic The Hedgehog 3. Because of this, I made the prediction that Krysten Ritter would be Rouge the Bat in Sonic 3. She's got the voice and mannerisms for it, so I think that'd be a perfect fit for her! Ritter could also be playing Amy Rose, as she's got the voice and mannerisms for Amy too. We'll have to wait and see as Sonic The Hedgehog 3 cast announcements commence!

Speculation has already begun on who Alyla Browne will be. Most of us agree that Alyla Browne will be Maria Robotnik in Sonic The Hedgehog 3. Maria is a big part of Shadow's backstory as his sister and best friend who had a tragic ending before Shadow was sent to Earth.
While these Sonic 3 cast additions have been revealed, speculation is that none of them will be Shadow the Hedgehog. The current rumor is that Hayden Christensen will voice Shadow the Hedgehog, but there has been no confirmation on who will play Shadow. We'll have to wait and see how things pan out for Sonic The Hedgehog 3!
