Immortal: Unchained is a badass looking new action RPG that blends big guns and close quarters melee combat as you battle your way through nine dying worlds that have been overrun by the undead.
There’s a definite Soulsian vibe about Immortal: Unchained, but with less of a focus on melee weaponry and more of a focus on beefy futuristic guns. It features over 100 unique weapons and six different player classes, as well as upgrades and customization options for your character.
In Immortal: Unchained you’ll battle against mechanical monstrosities and legions of undead that have escaped from the underworld as you make your way through nine dying worlds. It’s coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC (though the Alpha sign up is for PC only) and even in these early stages of development, it looks very impressive, with lots of freaky looking monsters to blast and combat that seems to falls somewhere between Gears of War’s run and gun action and Dark Souls more tactical approach.
