First Look - Proto Raider (Demo) - # Person!

This was an interesting submission for me. When I first saw the game, I wasn't sure what to think, but I spent well over an hour playing through many of the levels in this demo and I felt, it deserved at least a little bit of love. For how simplistic the controls of the game are, the developer did a good job with the art style of the game, the difficulty of the levels and the steady progression to make it more challenging. It's a good exercise for your brain and forces you to think ahead to avoid disaster. I would love to see this on Steam.

What is Proto Raider?
Proto Raider is a very unique game, where each level is a short little mini puzzle that you have to plot your way through. It uses the ASCII art style and despite it's simplistic controls, it still makes you think and consider your path. It starts off simplistic enough, but the difficulty ramps up rather quickly and it's not long before you are dying or missing things in the effort to make it to the end. Who knew that a game consisting of one button could be so challenging!
My thanks to the folks at Puzzle Labs for sending the demo my way to try out Proto Raider and showcase it on the channel. I was hesitant at first, but after playing it for a bit, I had quite a bit of fun. I hope to see it Greenlit soon!
