First Look: Seraph
0Seraph is a 2D shooter in which you take control of the angel Seraph and her gun wielding acrobatic skills to fight your way through hordes of demons. Developed and published by Dreadbit, makes of the excellent Ironcast, Seraph is currently in early access on Steam.
With engaging controls, detailed art design and an emphasis on combat, Seraph is a unique style of action game. A crafting system encourages you to collect trophies from your fallen foes in the form of materials. Turn these into new weapons, passive skills or upgrades for your "miracles". Seraph encourages the player to experiment and tailor their character to their play style.
The game is also brutally hard, with the difficulty level ramping up as you take out more enemies and gain more experience. Throw in a "streamer mode" which allows Twitch chat to vote on good or evil buffs for the player, and Dreadbit has created a unique and memorable experience.
