First Look - Siralim - Loud Music Is Loud!
*Note* This First Look had very little time spent in the game. Playing it a bit more, it becomes even more addictive and enjoyable! There's so much to do! Also, sorry if the music gets loud on and off! :(
Siralim is an interesting amalgamation of game types or genres. It has the classic turn-based strategy games of the NES, mixed with roguelike elements, party and kingdom management, as well as monster collection. Siralim is quite unique and is similar to many of the games I've played in my past, yet still different from every single one. It's simple to get started but there's literally a ton of depth here and it can consume you if you aren't careful. You start of choosing which type of mage you wish to be. Then you become King/Queen after your father passes and it's up to you to do all you can to make your kingdom grow. You teleport out to randomly generated areas and battle monsters to increase your power, capture the cores and eventually summoning those same monsters to fight for you. You can control up to 6 monsters at any given time, but there are tons to choose from. Add artifacts for each monster, different skills, abilities, combinations, not to mention all the things you can increase when you level up as well. It will seem daunting at first, but it eases you in. Welcome back to the days of NES RPG's improved!
