I thought this game was a homebrew Atari version of the Nintendo Star Fox series. Turns out it's actually an original Atari 2600 game. The controls are responsive...they are similar to Defender. I don't know what that blinking thing is on the ground but it moves around and I can land near it. The enemy ships seem to spawn around it and target me when I'm near it.

My only gripe with this game is that the game and enemies move so fast that I had to basically fly into them in order to be able to shoot them.

Tell me if you think that image they drew for the extra ship actually looks like an extra ship, or it's actually a middle finger that they snuck into the game (like the Buddha statue in Mortal Kombat that flips the bird at you).
