First Time Using An Artisan Mousepad! (Hayate Otsu XSoft)

So my current thoughts on the Hayate Otsu XSoft from Artisan that I got from Agile Cables is pretty nice! I'm not in love with the price but it's not what I would say is a bad product for a handmade product(so I'm told) but as far as the feel of the mousepad goes, it feels somewhere between a cloth and hybrid pad because of the weave which does feel good. It isn't as loud as something like an Odin Infinity or Glorious Fire, since those are actual hybrid pads, while you glide your mouse across the surface, and the texture isn't as rough as those two pads as well. I do notice that the Y axis feels a bit faster than the X axis and I don't think that's a bad thing, I actually think it helps with horizontal control. Keeping it a buck, I would rather save money and spend half on the Infinity and deal with the slightly rougher texture and a bit more speed and learn to control it by getting used to it than to buy this again. It's good but just a bit pricey and I don't see myself "collecting" all the Artisan pads for no reason, this one I just thought seemed like the most unique and interesting surface so I opted to try it and I think it was worth trying for experimentation purposes, so maybe give it a go yourself if you have $75 burning a hole in your pocket.
