This game veers away from the first person perspective introduced in the "Metroid Prime" series to go back to its roots as a side-scroller/third person shooter. The biggest difference in this game is that unlike her previous adventures, Samus has decided to speak up! And boy, does she have a lot to say! And I mean... a lot.
