Welcome to our playthrough of the first Paper Mario! Paper Mario 1 came out for the Nintendo 64, and is sometimes referred to as Paper Mario 64. It was made by Intelligent Systems, developers of the Fire Emblem series and Advance Wars series. Nowadays, the game is revered as one of the greatest RPGs of all-time.

As the series veers in a new direction with Sticker Star and Color Splash, fans want nothing more to a return to the form of Paper Mario 64 and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. But is this justified? Does it still hold up, or is it just nostalgia? Let's find out!
