This guide is about improving Psychonauts 2 videogame performance by eliminating stutters and increasing framerate using a launch command that forces the game to run in the DirectX 11 Api instead of the default DirectX 12 which is less stable on a lot of hardware out there.
With this solution i noticed much better frametimes and overall FPS which you can notice in the top left MSI afterburner overlay.
This works on all supported windows operating systems and on any launcher which you may own the game in of any including gamepass, Steam and epic games store.
