Fix The Callisto Protocol Error The unreal engine has crashed,LowLevelFatalError,DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED with Reason: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG, TheCallistoProtocol_Win64_Shipping crash,Fix The Callisto Protocol won't start/open/launch,Fix The Callisto Protocol Crash to desktop (CTD), black screen and freezing
Step 1) Restart computer
Step 2) oculus

Step 3) Local\CallistoProtocol\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\ Engine.ini
Copy the following command : [/script/engine.renderersettings]r.CreateShadersOnLoad=1
Paste it on the last line of the file and save.
Step 4) Run the game as an administrator from the game installation folder
Step 5) Launch the game in compatibility mode
Step 6) Delete the save game files (This will result in loss of game progress)
Step 7) Switch to DirectX 11, Turn OFF motion blur, Turn OFF depth of view, Set to AMD FSR 2. Under Quality Mode- Performance/balanced, Disable HDR, Turn of Ray Tracing, try Full Screen/Windowed mode, Turn off the RTX & lower down graphics settings
Step 8) Allow the game exe file to your antivirus program/Windows Security and Firewall
Step 9) Do a clean installation of graphics driver

Step 10) Roll back graphics driver
Step 11) Verify game files
Step 12) Disable Steam Overlay, close all the overlay apps (Discord, GeForce Experience, Nvidia shadow play overlay, AMD overlay), close all the overclocking application, perform clean boot
Step 13) Run the game on dedicated graphics card
Step 14) Increase the Virtual Memory:

Initial Size: 1.5 x Total Ram
Maximum Size: 3 X Total Ram

Step 17) Update your Windows
Step 18) Disconnect multiple monitors, unplug all the USB devices, Logitech wheel, joystick, Razer Tartarus gamepad, vjoy, Turn off Razer Synapse (razor lighting effects) and MSI Dragon Center, corsair software, end nahimic services & lightingservice.exe in task manager, remove the undervolt
Step 19) Update System BIOS
Step 20) Try Windowed mode and lower down graphics settings
Step 21) Uninstall and reinstall the game to the different drive (Try SSD first)
