Step 1) Try launching the game from EA App instead of using the game shortcut, if already using EA app, then launch the game using the shortcut.
Step 2) Change the date on PC to the previous date when the game was working fine. Make sure to set the correct date after playing the game
Step 3) Disconnect internet, launch the game and once the game is up and running connect to the internet
Step 4) Close EA app, repair EA app
Step 5) Create a new Windows admin account and then launch the game
Step 6) Remove mods
Step 7) Create a backup of the save game file and then delete the save game files, launch the game and this will create a new save game file, now you can replace new one with old save game files.
Step 8) Copy the game folder to desktop and then launch the game from desktop
Step 9) Start EA Background Service
Step 10) Close all EA services in task manager and then launch EA App as an administrator
Step 11) Run EA App Updater
Step 12) Update Windows to the latest version
Step 14) Clear EA App Cache
Step 15) Uninstall & Reinstall EA App
