Means you dual PCI IDE controller has a resource conflict with the direct memory access controller. Changing the value to anything that has no conflicts should fix it, if it's fixed, you will see Windows installing IDE like in the video @ 0:53


This works with the:
Latitude D600
Latitude D800
Inspiron 8500
Inspiron 1150
Inspiron 600m
Inspiron 2600/2650
and probably others, but these are the ones in my collection and have tried.


Note: You will not be able to find all the drivers for the 1150 and other models because they were designed for 2000/XP
