Special note: This tends to happen in general, but, you tend to at least see a nick of damage, like the very first hit. All that shows up on that is Light and basic damage, with Earth being more of a brown color. They've had several months, basically, you can tie the point when this was reported when Kamael released, since it was pretty obvious.

Too note as well, this negatively impacts other aspects of the game. If you try doing something like Kamazone for example, he'll do things like this on repeat, especially when there is one enemy left, usually resulting in like 8 specials before a chain activates. This is also bad because if you notice units, the developer is recycling kits, but making attack speed better, etc, small improvements, but still the same overall design. Now the game already has one character who performs like this but is basically a bench unit, Lapice. Her basic is different, but the special is exactly the same. She also has a outside trigger area and diagonals like Kamael.

That is probably one of the dumber aspects of the unit. The earth units tend to have these issues in general though. Mayreel triggers special so far away she doesn't even fully hit, with other numerous issues that make her victories basically rng, Kamael, if you test it, when looking directly at some, if he's too close, he'll aim left or right, despite forward making the most sense. Tested it on the portrait ghost boss who can't move and man, is it designed like shit. While discussing Earth some more, due to the complications of Arena, Rue can miss attacks due to its slow animation, so the small amount she gets can literally just whiff, inches away from the opponent. Autoaim is completely broken on her, etc etc etc.

Despite so many problems and being given so much time to even address it, Kong Studios performs as they always do, poorly or not at all.
