As of January 27th the Aim54 Phoenix missiles are now slow and capped at max Mach 4.. never faster. In addition, after it finishes doing an engine burn it will rapidly loose speed. Launch envelope is now UNDER 25-30 miles max. In SATAL and other matches launching a missile at 30-60 miles is no longer feasible. The Aim-54 can now be easily out run out turned in a dog fight.
