Fixing the D&D 5e Sorcerer | Nerd Immersion

So it's come up before as a few comments on my previous videos, so I figured I'd address it. There seems to be a perception that the D&D 5e Sorcerer class needs some fixing. From the few times I've seen sorcerers in play, from a player and DM perspective, I'd say this seems to be true. Their small spells known list feels like it will drive you down the "damage only" spells route, and in most cases it's backed up by the way the various features work.

So with that said, I wanted to try and see if I could do a few small tweaks to make it feel more inline with the other full casting classes. Here's the fixes I'm proposing:
-Detect Magic and Find Familiar as Ritual Spells
-Give them the Bard's Spell Known Progression (22 spells at 20 as opposed to 15)
-Give them a short rest Sorcery Point recharge mechanic similar to a Wizard's Arcane Recovery.
