Fixing the Geometry on my Commodore 1702
Fixing the geometry (vertical linearity?) on my Commodore 1702 monitor since I've noticed playing vertically scrolling platformers that things at the top 3rd of the screen are stretched in height compared to things in the bottom 3rd of the screen being squished.
I also figured while I'm in here I'd try and fix the ghosting issue and adjust the focus. While I couldn't fix the ghosting issue I definitely fixed the geometry issue as it's now much better. Long term I know this monitor probably needs a full recap but in the short term I'm glad to see it's looking better for now. None of the caps look bulged or leaking so I don't think there's anything to worry about in terms of damaging the PCB it's more so about the caps being within spec. This monitor is 40 years old so considering that I'd say it still looks decent.
