PS2 Emulation Has Come a LONG Way! (PCSX2)
107The last time I actually tried PS2 emulation was back in like 2003-2004 and wow let me tell ya it was exactly what you would expect at that time. Most games didn't run at all or had all kinds of glitches and even with a moderate gaming PC the games all ran way too slow! I knew PS2 emulation had gotten a lot better in the last few decades (obviously!) but I had no idea it had got THIS good! I mainly started fooling around with this just to see how well Primal ran compared to the glitchy experience on the PS5 but ended up testing some other games in the meantime only to find that they basically all ran fine right out of the box. I've since been playing Silent Hill: Origins a short Silent Hill game that was originally for the PSP in 2007 but ported to the PS2 a year later.
