Flashback Stage 3 [Expert] Glitched Speedrun in 1:54.65*
0Original DOS version, played via REminiscence in Windows.
Fastest stage 3 to date using wall glitch. Hard to get a good time when you're getting smacked by an orb or a replicant. Still, anything is better than climbing to the top without the wall glitch.
Level 8: You can go right or left. Left seems simpler/easier, probably faster. Last two orbs are pretty easy to dodge if you're moving quick enough.
Level 4: In order to dodge the replicants, you must stay behind them. There is a slim chance they will catch you before you get through the wall. If you hear them coming early, you can evade them but your time will suffer.
Level 3: Go right to trigger two replicants, then immediately left to lure the other one to the right. Sometimes he doesn't follow, and that's fine. Go and pop the first orb to open the outer gate, then roll out left. (You'll see the first two replicants on the top tier headed away from the action.) When you leap towards the gate, you may get zapped by an orb in midair. When you get to the gate, normally you want to wait for the orbs to get a little closer to you before you glitch through. If you go right away, you may get zapped. It's sort of up to the orbs.
Level 2: The fastest way through this is to climb up before the replicant steps down but not so soon that he knocks you back down. You want to get hit right after you flip the switch, not before. One hit should buy you enough time to climb up. Roll to the elevator before they shoot you in the back.
Level 1: Get off a couple shots as soon as he's in your sights, then shoot him low as he gets up. The rest is all pattern. The high/low alternating shots are buffer strats: hold the trigger down and press up/down in time with your shots.
