Hey y'all, this isn't something I normally do but I wanted to make some kind of video about KSP 2 on release day. After spending about 5 hours in the game, I've come to the conclusion that it is sadly not in a very good state at this time. This game has a lot of issues and missing content, even for an early access, and especially when compared to KSP 1.

Missing essential KSP 1 features that I've identified so far (There are many, many more):

•Autostrut (your rocket will act like it did in pre-beta KSP 1)

•Stage Information (Thrust-to-weight, burn time, delta-V)

•Many useful/fun parts (No flags, many missing engines, also nothing from either KSP 1 DLC including any 1.875m sized parts)

•Reentry heating and FX, atmospheric FX (Said to be finished but turned off...)

•Hovering your mouse over apoapsis and periapsis no longer shows any information

•IVA

•Cannot toggle off fuel draining from fuel tanks

Overall, KSP 2 has a lot of potential to be better than KSP 1. However, in its current state, it is objectively worse than KSP 1 at this point in time. I will say that I love the procedural wings and new payload parts, but everything else leaves a lot to be desired. At the end of the day, I would say to keep playing KSP 1 and wait until this game receives its first content update listed on the roadmap before buying. I would hope that a majority of the issues I listed (and once again, many more are present) will be fixed by then. I really do hope that this game becomes better than KSP 1 in every way, but I can't see that becoming a reality for several years if development even continues with the game in this state.
