3RD UPDATE: These units have finally been retired after serving 26 years in service.

2ND UPDATE 3/8/12: It is unknown whether these remaining units will retire. It may be still active, but I'm not entirely sure...

Folks, I've made a slight error about the RTS' retirement; half of them are still active. Last time, I've went to Flint, I didn't see any RTS buses at all; I think it's probably because they were operating on a different route or they weren't used for service--either one. But anyway, I was VERY lucky to find those good ol' workhouse RTS' still active in service! Anyway, here is the picture of the 1989's Flint MTA TMC RTS T8O-206 #1127 with the sound audio of the Detroit Diesel 6V92TA engine with the Allison V-731 ATEC automatic transmission. This bus is on the commuter route to Great Lakes Crossing Outlet Mall in Auburn Hills.

Engine: Detroit Diesel 6V92TA
Transmission: Allison V-731 automatic

BTW, I've kinda messed up the sync at the end so I'm gonna try to reupload the video part of the RTS bus departing from Great Lakes Crossing Mall.
