Well, we had a mite problem, and it appears that my nucleus colony came factory pre-installed with LOTS of mites. There was supposed to be apivar strips in there on arrival that I was to remove - but mine for some reason DIDN'T have them. Off to oxalic acid vaporization, and the nuances of the flow hive as the vaporizer wouldn't fit in the front entrance!
