Ok so, here's a project that got me fascinated while working on it.

This is the second track for the menu that you can hear in Formula One 2000, a game for PS1 by Studio 33 (former Psygnosis) with composer Gary McKill. It's the second one because 9/10 times you'll get the "other" track, which I honestly find boring.

Anyway, what's so special about this OST is that it's a "procedurally generated" song made by segments lasting 10 seconds each that can be randomized by the game. I tried to rearrange them according to another YT video that somehow made a melody pleasing to listen to. The only problem is: that video has some glitchy segments (the game doesn't handle these segments very well on emu and if your disc has a lot of scratches, it seems) and some with "dirty" audio, for the same aforementioned reason. I applied some fixes and here's the final result.

Name is "Variaton 1" because there are 2 other versions with different intros of this song. I don't know when I'll be able to work on the other 2 projects, but for now, here's a "clean" version, finally, of this amazing soundtrack.
