2020 crossover didn't satisfy you, you'll be happy to learn that they'll be collaborating again this summer for a second crossover. Spider-Man, Shuri, and Wolverine will team up with "fan favorite" characters from the battle royale to chase down a crystal shard from the Zero Point event in Season 8 of Chapter 2 that has wound up in the Marvel Universe in Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War.
The so-called "Zero Shard" has the potential to reverse the course of Fortnite's characters' never-ending fight, and the plot will have "enormous implications" for both realms. Given how Fortnite's universe has changed over time, and how the Marvel Universe continues to find new ways to hurl itself into crisis every few months, it should be a pretty solid crossover event that pleases fans of both brands. Who knows, maybe it will have a tangible and interesting impact on the Marvel universe's heroes.
The five-issue run of Marvel x Fortnite: Zero War will begin in June. Each issue will include coupons for in-game cosmetic goods, which will be available for purchase the following week for non-comics readers.
