Forza Horizon 4 Drag race: Ferrari 488 GTB vs 458 Speciale vs 458 Italia vs 430 Scuderia
Hello everyone and welcome back to the series of Forza drag races, and today we have the Ultimate V8 Ferrari race. Featuring the 2015 488 GTB, the 2014 Ferrari 458 Speciale, the 2009 Ferrari 458 Italia, and the 2007 Ferrari 430 Scuderia. Both resemble the evolution of the Ferrari V8's from Naturally Aspirated to Twin-Turbocharged, lets see how they compare to each other.
Lets start off with the oldest, the 2007 Ferrari 430 Scuderia. Which is a high performance variant of the Ferrari F430. It was the successor to the Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradalle, and it uses a 5.3L Naturally Aspirated V8, producing 503 bhp and 346 lb.ft of torque, weighing 100 kg less than the regular F430, which is a weight of 1349 kg and it uses a 6-Speed semi-automatic "Superfast2" transmission.
Now lets move onto the 2009 Ferrari 458 Italia. The 458 italia is the successor to the Ferrari F430, and it entered production in 2009 for the 2010 production model year. It is powered by a 4.5L Naturally Aspirated V8 codenamed F136 F, producing 562 bhp and 398 lb.ft of torque, weighing at 1485 kg and it uses a 7-Speed dual-clutch transmission.
Now lets move onto 2013 Ferrari 458 Speciale, the successor to the F430 Scuderia and it is also the high-performance variant of the Ferrari 458 Italia. It was unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show and was produced between 2013 and 2015, and it was Ferrari's last model with a Naturally Aspirated V8 engine as it will be discontinued with the California T and the 488 GTB. The 458 Speciale uses a 4.5L Naturally Aspirated V8, same engine from the 458 italia, but has recived upgrades, producing 597 bhp and 398 lb.ft of torque, a weight of 1395 kg and it uses a 7-Speed dual-clutch transmission that sends the power to its RWD.
Finally, we have the 2015 Ferrari 488 GTB. Named for its displacement-per-cylinder ratio of 488 cc, the 488 GTB is the successor to the Ferrari 458 Italia and the first mid-engined Ferrari model with a forced-induction engine since the Ferrari F40 back in 1987. It is powered by a new designed 3.9L Twin-Turbocharged V8 codenamed Ferrari F154 CB that is also used by the California T. It produces 660 bhp and 560 lb.ft of torque, weighing at 1475 kg and it uses a 7-Speed dual-clutch transmission that sends the power to its RWD.
