The Toyota AE86 Series are sport cars manufactured between 1984 and 1987, making a family of 2: Corolla Levin and Sprinter Trueno.
We're going to focus on the Sprinter Trueno, highly known as Hachi-Roku (ハチロク) in the manga/anime Initial D. Powerd by an 1.5L in-line 4 cylinder engine that provides from 70 HP to 130 HP. But in the manga, it is modified with a Toyota Racing engine (a modified 2JZ?) that reaches 10.000 RPM.
This hatchback, despite of it's poor performance, it became an internet phenomenon thanks to the music and scenes that Initial D has.... This is definitively a meme machine!

Did you know that in Gran Turismo, the Initial D Version can be bought? It is named AE86 Sprinter Trueno (S. Shigeno Edition), it was requested from the creator of this manga/anime: Shūichi Shigeno.
