Free Bottle Cap, Anyone? + Mimikyu Set To Appear In Pokémon TCG!
5Welcome back, Pokémon Trainers! It's time again for a weekly news update video thingy!
- Once again, I've got a Pokémon TCG booster pack to open up! This week will be Steam Siege, with the code card (as always) going out to one lucky viewer. I'll open up the booster near the end of the video, and give you viewers the Question of the Day to respond to. Leave your response in a comment down below using the hashtag #QOTD, and you'll be entered into the running to receive the code card (chosen randomly) when I do the drawing this coming Sunday, February 19.
- If you've been looking to power up your level 100 Pokémon to an even higher plateau, then GameStop stores have what you're looking for! Between February 13 and March 5, pop into participating locations to pick up a code card that unlocks a coveted Bottle Cap item in your copy of Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon. You can take this Bottle Cap to Mr. Hyper, located within the shopping mall in Hau'oli City, to give one of your level 100 Pokémon a dose of Hyper Training which will boost their IVs. Make sure to redeem your code before May 13, after which the code will become invalid.
- While at GameStop picking up your Bottle Cap, if you spend at least $11.95 on Pokémon TCG products, you'll obtain a special code card to unlock a number of collectibles in Pokémon TCG Online: a rare Pangoro promo card (which gains boosted HP for each of your Benched Pokémon), a Stufful card, a Bewear card, and special Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon card sleeves. A cool way to highlight your entry into the Alola generation of Pokémon TCG Online!
- A new Pokémon TCG collection is coming out on April 7: the Pokémon TCG Collector's Chest. In this collectible storage tin, you'll receive 5 Pokémon TCG booster packs, 3 foil promo cards of the Alolan starters (Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio), a special Pokémon coin, 2 colorful sticker sheets, a mini album for storing your favorite cards, a Pokémon notepad and 4 pencils, and a code card to redeem in Pokémon TCG Online.
- Also coming out on April 7 is another special collection: the Mimikyu Pin Collection. This collection comes with a foil promo card of Mimikyu, a Mimikyu collector's pin, 3 Pokémon TCG booster packs, and a code card to unlock the promo Mimikyu (and perhaps a deck box and card sleeves) in Pokémon TCG Online.
